A reissue of the single “Epiphany” arrives to streaming services on July 25, 2025 with new mixes.
This two-track single was originally released in 2015 as part of a multi-month campaign preceding the release of Retrograde Songs, a compilation of b-side tracks. “Epiphany” was the fourth of six singles.
The tracks on this release marked the first time Eponymous 4 used a guitar as a primary instrument. Until then, most Eponymous 4 songs had been written on keyboards and piano. Japanese indie artists such as NUMBER GIRL and Shiina Ringo provided the push into a full rock sound.
